Though the Kalachakra ritual is usually associated with Tibetan Spiritual practices, in order for an
Empowerment to stay effective and ever-fresh, the outer form and style in which it is presented must always be allowed to change according to the circumstances and challenges of the times we find ourselves in.

For those unfamiliar with the pageant and purpose of Empowerment rituals, the best comparison would be stories from the Bible, like the Book of Jonah, chapter 3, where a whole town becomes convinced that they are heading down the wrong path.  Then through  further  introspection they realize that their own sincere actions can empower them to align with ‘Greater powers’ to change the course of events.

Today in our times, global communication has turned the little town into the whole world village, thus the
need for rituals that bless and inform All. Empowerment is what flows over the sides from the Well that is always full.

The civilizations, paths and philosophies come and go and change with time…but the Well stays the same and feeds them all The danger is to stay on the surface and not dip down deep for the clear fresh water. Call “It” what you want – the Well is all names – and has no names.  Because this is the Source of the ritual, it is purely non-denominational, and all-denominational; it is an intensely personal meeting of minds hearts and prayers of people from all over this planet. It is the honoring of the Good, handed down to many people in many different ways, then blended into one Chord…one Voice…a Global Prayer.  These are the walls and foundation of the Sonic Temple…a large space for a new Self to be born in.

Traditionally, Empowerment rituals were created for many different reasons: from the changing of weather patterns, creation of wealth, healing, and all matter of earthly concerns.   We picked the Kalachakra Tantra to base this ritual on because it has one purpose only – the creation of World Peace.  Notice the word “creation.”  This is not a weak philosophy that begs  for ‘someone else’ to do for us what we have been given the power to do for ourselves, and must do for ourselves in order to become truly Human.  This is also not the presentation of some kind of ‘feel good, new agey’ sentiment; rather Empowerments are precise sonic and energetic ‘seeds’ thrown into the middle of the habitual unconscious, and sometimes soul-less behavior of our Selves, and thus the mirror of the world around us.  What is contained in these 'seeds’ is  healing balms, gifts and tools for the journey ahead…the one we all take together…to the Future.

These fourteen songs are movements in one symphony.  They take you on a journey, following the course of ancient formulas created  long ago when these rituals were more commonly understood to be a major part of keeping oneself and one’s society in Harmony with the natural forces of a Conscious Living Universe.   In order to more fully participate, we will point out some of the hidden jewels found in each of the 14 rooms, the pillars for the Dome of Understanding that rest upon them, and covers them all.

No one knows all that must be done in order to turn the tide of the Soul-less behavior on our planet.  
But the good news is, you don’t have to know.  All one has to know is what their destined part is,
and what YOU must do.  Somewhere along the journey through the 14 rooms, it will be seen.
